Over the hills

To start, delicate biscuits in cashew gravy
 One brisk winters day, I met up with Kz on a quest for the elusive benny.  Sprig & Vine is located in the idyllic town of New Hope, PA. I loved the reprieve from big city pretensions and the view of snow covered old time trains.

This is what I call a Tofu Benedict. Light, frothy, lemony hollandaise, crispy succulent tofu, and a smoky tempeh patty. Plus really good home fries.
 Later that day it was time for an early buffett dinner at Kaya's Kitchen in Belmar, NJ. I especially enjoyed the hot wing sauced tofu and the pierogies.
 Dessert: Papa Ganache in Matawan, NJ.
What I want on a cupcake: ganache and a little bit of frosting.  A samoa cookie too.
Of course peanut butter banana frosting is always good too.
