It's always sunny in Sonoma

It's been 4 years since I visited the bay area, and I've eaten a whole bunch of new and exciting things. First, Sonoma! Just north of San Francisco, this county has an abundance of fresh and flavorful foods.
Cafe Gratitude, you know their other locations, but do you know them in Healdsburg? My friend and I were the sole patrons here and tried to earnestly order "I am Hearty" (raw pizza) and "I am marvelous" (raw cacao mocha).
Over in the seaside town of Sebastopol is Peter Lowell's. An omni place with some very nice options. The vegan cherry and pear cobbler for instance. A truly nourishing dessert.
Peter Lowell's famous macro bowl. Served in a warm soapstone bowl this dish includes it all: Seitan, rice, root vegetables, greens and rice. Served with their lemon tahini sauce. Best eaten outside, under the heat lamp, smelling flowers.
East-West Cafe in Santa Rosa. You can't go wrong with good old fashioned vegetarian friendly institutions like this one. This helping heaping of a salad topped with tofu fulfilled my need for fresh greens.
