Over in Oakland, there is much to eat and do. Pebbles Donut Farm for one. They specialize in old fashioned donuts and the meyer lemon was fresh, vibrant, and not too sweet. Featured here is also a regular lemon and a Kaffir Lime. Grown up flavors for us girls.

Bittersweet at Bittersweet Cafe. A true hot chocolate made with water and deep rich chocolate.
Cinnaholic in Berkeley. Yes, it is an all vegan cinnamon bunnery (!) You can even customize your bun. I went with the special of the day (ginger snap cookies crumbled on top). Again, not too sweet, a big deal in my book.
Flacos in Berkely. It was Taquito Tuesday! Again, all vegan. Perfect, crispy and not greasy taquitos with my favorite black beans and rice. Watch that sauce.
