Brooklyn Chocolate & Lemon Bundt Cake

In search of chocolate treats for fam & friend birthdays I scouted out two new Brooklyn chocolate makers. NuNu Chocolate was founded by Justine Pringle who hand makes single origin-small batch-caramels, barks, and ganaches. A darling little shop in convenient proximity to the Atlantic Avenue LIRR.

Mast Brothers Chocolate is NYC's only bean to bar production. Rick and Michael Mast handcraft chocolate all week, and open their Williamsburg doors for the weekend. Beautiful packaging and dedication to the chocolate revolution.
In un-chocolate related news, my niece applied her stellar 7 year old zeal to her first "from scratch" cake. We made Meyer Lemon Bundt Cake for my mom's bday. This recipe is exceptional because it relies solely on agave for sweetness and cashews & coconut for icing.

Thank you Hannah for this wonderful recipe.
