Seattle is famous for it's coffee. You simply cannot get enough of it. Bauhaus is still kicking and serves some of the finest Chai Tea (Morning Glory Chai).
Boom Noodle, a Japanese tapas style restaurant in Capital Hill w/ some refreshing presentation and taste. I had the edamame puree w/ sweet potato crisps, baby eggplant, Japanese cucumber & yuzi pepper.
"My Boom" is a popular saying referring to "the thing I am currently obsessed w/". Needless to say, I am obsessed.
Renee enjoys some delicious drinks at Sun Liquor. This classy joint presses lemons & limes the old fashion way. They also make their own pomegranate grenadine and other fine cocktail compositions. Ideal for health nuts who still wanna imbibe.
An honorable mention for all the Vietnamese Pho I did not eat (due to the warm weather). It is difficult to find the stuff w/ vegetarian broth in NY. This may warrant another rainy day visit!
Next Up: The Donut Report and Portland, Oregon.
