The Age of Aquarius

Bay area highlight eats:

Cafe Gratitude in Berkeley. "Eternally Inspired" Chai Nut Milk shake, "I am prosperous" salad w/ arugula, pear, walnuts, fennel, cashew cheeze and fig vin.
This was one of the most fun places for me because I have read so much about it. Who doesn't love some neo hippy lady shouting "You are Eternally Inspired!" to you as she serves you a heavenly shake? I'll leave you with this quote, " Being grateful puts your being in the shape of having".

Cha-Ya in the Mission.Cha-Ya Delight-delightfully simple vegetables & brown rice

Millenium-rich date food, located downtown.
Erbette Chard Roulade-olive oil crust, sun dried tomato-tofu-cashew filling, chard florentine, beluga lentil salad, seared exotic mushrooms, & grilled asparagus.

Sorbet: orange/pineapple/ginger, grapefruit-gin, and chocolate-vanilla. Sprinkled w/ cacao nibs.
Steelcut oatmeal w/ granola & coconut at Bittersweet Cafe in Oakland, each cup of coffee is individually brewed. Step off the Rockridge BART and you'll be lured by these fat-free vegan cinnamon buns at Great Harvest Bread Co. Or try some Kombucha on tap across the street at Cafe Lyon. I could go on and on about these well calf defined locavore leafy green lovers but I hope my images will suffice. This is a town for foodies to rejoice in!
